Sailing Trips for Roatan Vacationers
THE FOLLOWING TOURS ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR CRUISE SHIP VISITORS DUE TO TIME LIMITATIONS

    Salty Dog Sea Charters offers day sails and evening sails. Day sails last 5 hours and include fishing gear, snorkeling gear, and beverages. Sunset sails last 2 hours and include beverages. First time snorkelers will receive instruction. Flotation devices will be provided upon request. Meals available by pre-arrangement. Day sails and sunset sails take place off the beaches and reefs of beautiful West End, Roatan. Sadly, we are not equipped to serve wheelchair bound visitors as well as children under 7 on any tours.

    All sailing trips include captain and crew. You are invited to take the wheel and get involved in the sailing of the boat. All snorkeling takes place in protected waters within marine reserves. Fishing by hand (rod and reel) is permitted everywhere.  

We offer the following three sailing trips:

1. Island Visitor Day Sail: This 5 hour tour includes sailing, fishing, snorkeling and beverages. Snorkeling gear and fishing gear provided.
$45 per person. Minimum of 4 persons. Maximum of 10 persons.

2. Island Visitor Sunset Sail: Two hour sail. Beverages included.
$30 per person. Minimum of 6 persons. Maximum of 10 persons.

U.S. currency, Honduran currency and traveler's checks accepted. All reservations require 50% deposit by paypal.com.   

    West End, Roatan has lodging for all budgets-from $5 per night dormitory to $90 per night air conditioned cabins with full kitchen and bath. Many restaurants offer various cuisines. Fresh seafood, steaks, pizza, and sidewalk vendors of inexpensive island specialties.

Our prices are among the lowest in the entire Caribbean. Reservations for high season (December-April) are recommended both for lodging and sailing.
